Individuals, Couples, & Families
I made the conscious decision to re-enter the mental health field after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2002, working several years in another profession, and raising a family. I returned to school and earned a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a second master's degree in Professional Counseling. I am passionate about helping my clients deal with depression, anxiety, addiction, relational, and other challenges. My approach to therapy involves helping clients identify unhealthy thought patterns, habits, and beliefs, while helping them develop better coping skills, enhance self-esteem, manage stress, and improve communication skills. I focus on instilling hope in my clients while collaboratively working towards their goals. I works with individuals, as well as couples and families, particularly those navigating parenting, divorce, and blended families. I am trained in "Parenting with Love and Logic" and Gottman level 2 trained, allowing me to provide effective therapeutic interventions for couples. I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.
